SAS and Grant Thornton Partner to Meet the Needs of the U.S. Government
SAS announced that Grant Thornton LLP, a global consulting, accounting, tax and business advisory services provider, has become a consulting partner with the SAS Alliance, concentrating on public sector clients, specifically those in the federal government. The partnership allows both companies to build on their respective strengths that encompass financial and performance management along with in-depth reporting and advanced analytics.

To date, Grant Thornton has implemented SAS solutions to support the total performance management solution at several federal entities including the Departments of Interior and Homeland Security. Other Grant Thornton public sector customers include: Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Commerce, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of the Navy, Department of the Army and Department of the Air Force. SAS Public Sector customers include the 15 major departments and 85 percent of independent agencies and commissions.
