Knoa Software Announces Global Reseller Agreement With SAP

Knoa Software today announced that it has signed a global agreement with SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) through which the company will resell Knoa’s Experience and Performance Manager. The solution – called SAP® User Experience Management by Knoa – will help customers maximize the value derived from their deployments of SAP applications by driving adoption, building end-user proficiency, and ensuring the application is delivering an efficient and effective end-user experience.

Available today, SAP User Experience Management (UEM) by Knoa breaks new ground by giving customers a single software tool to simultaneously boost employee productivity and optimize application performance, quality and usability – while reducing software support costs.

“For the past two years, we have been remarketing the Knoa solution and have achieved great success with global SAP customers who recognize that driving end-user performance is critical to realizing ROI objectives for their SAP implementations,” said Nina Simosko, COO, SAP Global Education and Performance Management. “With this expanded relationship, SAP will sell the product directly as a solution extension. We are delighted to be teaming with the industry leader to bring this important capability to our customers.”

SAP UEM by Knoa monitors application execution from the perspective of the end user and provides precise metrics about the user experience as well as measurements on how effectively people execute the SAP application. Knoa delivers the most accurate metrics possible on the performance of the application from the end-user perspective, and an unprecedented level of visibility into the actual performance of end users. Knoa’s role-based console enables every function within an organization to benefit from end-user performance metrics, all from the same universal user monitoring agent.

It is often assumed the biggest challenge of ERP deployments is software complexity. SAP UEM by Knoa addresses the issues that sometimes are forgotten in the discussion of ERP implementations: the time it takes to get people to use a new system, to use it properly, and to sustain that effective use throughout the deployed lifecycle of the application.

“To gain the most significant business results from an ERP implementation, companies need to pay sufficient attention to the training, change management and end-user support which will drive the sought-after business performance improvements,” said Pat Phelan, Research Director, Gartner, Inc. “Companies need to consider the deployment of tools and processes that give insight into real end-user experience and actual performance to highlight problem areas where proactive measures can be applied to drive maximum business success – at the time of implementation and throughout the deployed life of the software application.”

“CIOs and IT executives are under immense pressure to deliver results from their company’s investment in enterprise software applications,” said Thad Eidman, CEO of Knoa Software, Inc. “Knoa’s solutions provide comprehensive, precise metrics about application and end-user performance – from the only place that matters – the end-user perspective. Armed with this insight, companies can effectively target resources for maximum leverage and optimal return on investment.”
