"As a brick and mortar retailer, we focus a lot of our energies on optimizing the customer experience from the point of entering our stores to ensuring all our customers enjoyed their purchases," said Diane Randolph, vice president of information systems, Reitmans Limited, Canada's largest women's apparel retailer with more than 900 stores across Canada. "As we took the step into ecommerce and becoming a multi-channel retailer, our mandate was to provide continuity and a great customer experience. We deployed the Vcommerce Enterprise solution that integrates with RightNow to answer this mandate and never lose sight of our key asset, our customers."

RightNow Marketing assists retailers in delivering effective messages to target audiences quickly and cost-efficiently. RightNow simplifies the design of compelling communications and promotions, which can include trackable hyperlinks, graphics, personalized content and legally compliant opt-out mechanisms. RightNow Marketing also helps retailers leverage the customer knowledge they have gathered across every touch-point-so that customer communications are based on the products they own, the problems they have had, or the opinions they have voiced. Once a shopper turns into a customer, RightNow Service helps retailers deliver superior customer care seamlessly across all interaction points.

Vcommerce Enterprise provides enterprise-class, end-to-end eCommerce solutions, which include online marketing, storefronts, order management, fulfillment and customer service. Through the combined solution, clients can benefit by leveraging the power and flexibility of Vcommerce Enterprise in processing retail sales along with the functionality of RightNow's best-in-class applications through the Vcommerce Enterprise Connector (VECTORTM). In addition, Vcommerce offers teams of experienced online marketing and eCommerce experts to assist clients in growing and driving their business.

"Together, RightNow and Vcommerce have been enhancing customer loyalty and managing eCommerce for a number of large retailers," said Dan Kennedy, chief technology officer and president of Vcommerce. "Together we can help retailers drive far better results."
