Alpha Get The Parts That Count
Leading gas and solar heating equipment manufacturer Alpha has revolutionised the way its parts information is published. The Italian-owned company has selected Infomill’s PartsArena to provide technical parts diagrams to both in-house and independent service engineers.
Alpha needed a solution that managed their parts information across both web-based and mobile platforms. It wanted to equip its team of service engineers with a PDA-based solution. PartsArena runs on their standard PDAs and allows rapid access to exploded diagrams with then link back to the relevant parts information.
“PartsArena meets the needs of our own service team, as well as independent engineers and those that matter most — the end users,” says Alpha’s Customer Services Director Gary McKinnon. “By using PartsArena, service engineers can be confident that they have identified the right part first time, every time.”
Independent engineers are able to access the same information as Alpha’s own team via the web. Alpha’s entire library of technical diagrams is now published on their website through PartsArena.
“There is no other solution that fits our requirements so well,” concludes McKinnon. “PartsArena makes our lives easier and allows us to get on with what we do best — serving our customers.”
