Siperian and Identity Systems Bring International Matching to MDM Hub
Siperian, a developer of an award-winning adaptive master data management (MDM) platform and Identity Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia and a worldwide leader in identity searching and matching technology, today announced that several new joint customers in the financial, pharmaceutical and high-tech industries are taking advantage of the combined functionality resulting from this year-old strategic alliance.
Identity Systems’ matching technology is embedded into Siperian MDM Hub™ and enables organizations to define complex and flexible match rules for any entity and data type. The combined solution goes beyond basic entities supported by other CDI/MDM solutions, such as customer, organization, address and employee.
Identity Systems brings a proven track-record to Siperian, including the most international matching experience in the market with more than 600 clients worldwide including the FBI, the IRS, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Equifax and Choicepoint. Matching, or the ability to accurately identify a customer or other master data entities, is critical to today’s master data management initiatives because it allows organizations to create reliable unified views of customers, products and suppliers from distributed data sources. As a result, this joint alliance is already helping companies realize higher profitability, reduced operational costs and improved compliance by enabling them to combine diversified identity data, determine relationships among the data and discover data duplicates regardless of the potential variations.
“The key to a successful MDM initiative is to combine a flexible data model with high speed and accurate custom matching for all entity types,” said Aaron Zornes, chief research officer of The CDI-MDM Institute. “The integration of Identity Systems’ global matching capabilities with Siperian Hub offers an enterprise MDM solution that can handle matching for multiple entity types tailored to an organization’s unique blend of customer, product, supplier, etc. master entities.”
“Our customers have told us that Siperian’s adaptive master data management hub has enabled them to rapidly develop solutions that meet their business needs today,” said Anurag Wadehra, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management of Siperian. “Having Identity Systems’ technology tightly coupled with Siperian MDM Hub, further provides them with the confidence that they can extend the platform in the future when they decide to add other entity types to their master data management strategy.”
As a result of the successful alliance, Siperian and Identity Systems have embarked on an effort to bring their story to other organizations that are looking for critical matching capabilities within their MDM initiatives. Executives from Siperian and Identity Systems will be joined by internationally recognized author, speaker and business consultant Jill Dyche in a webinar entitled ‘Master Data Management Starts With a Solid Match Foundation-Top 5 Issues Every Organization Must Know’ to discuss the top five match or identity resolution issues every organization must address. The webinar is scheduled for February 22 at 12:00 p.m. EST. For more information or to register, please email Kathleen Calderwood at kcalderwood@siperian.com.
