Chordiant Software Appoints Frank Florence as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Chordiant Software, Inc., a provider of Customer Experience (Cx™) software and services, announced that it has appointed Frank J. Florence as vice president and chief marketing officer, effective May 3, 2006.
In his new position, Mr. Florence will be responsible for overseeing Chordiant’s marketing strategy, branding and new market development. He will report to Steven R. Springsteel, Chordiant president and chief executive officer.
“Frank brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software marketing and market development.
Mr. Florence has served in senior marketing positions at a number of the top innovators in the software industry. He joins Chordiant from Dorado Corporation, a leader in Web services-based applications for home lending, where he served as senior vice president of marketing and corporate development. He joined Dorado in 2003 to lead the Company’s positioning and product strategy initiatives. Prior to Dorado, he was senior vice president of marketing for InStranet, Inc., an enterprise software start-up company.
From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Florence held senior management positions at Interwoven, Inc., an enterprise content management company. He also served in senior management positions at SmartDB, Inc., an enterprise application integration company; Parallax Graphics, Inc., a leader in high-end networked digital video; and Dataquest, Inc., a worldwide technology marketing research firm.
Mr. Florence holds a holds a bachelor's degree and a master's of business administration degree from Santa Clara University.
