Allied Home Mortgage and Entellium Ink 3-Year Hosted CRM Deal For Up to 5000 Employees

Allied Home Mortgage and Entellium Ink 3-Year Hosted CRM Deal For Up to 5000 Employees

Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation ("Allied"), the nation's largest privately-held mortgage broker, announced that it will standardize its sales operations with Entellium's CRM solution for up to 5,000 associates in more than 600 offices operating in 50 states. The deal is one of the largest in hosted CRM and cements Allied's reputation for embracing innovative solutions ahead of others in the industry.

"Allied is the leader in the home mortgage business because of the dedicated, customer-focused employees in our branches. We wanted a CRM tool that empowers our brokers to spend even more time with customers, and less time with technology," said Allied CEO Jim Hodge.

"Entellium gives us a user-friendly, cost-effective solution that will help our brokers accomplish more everyday activities in less time, enhancing the high-touch customer experience we strive to deliver."

Entellium develops CRM applications that are focused on making the daily lives of sales, service and marketing employees easier, with advanced automation features not found in any other hosted CRM solution. The company's recent PRO-Activity Release was based on more than 43,000 hours of usability research, with the result being the most user-centric CRM solution on the market today. In addition, Entellium's CRM suite has a lower total cost of ownership than Salesforce.com's Professional and Enterprise Editions.

Allied has over $50 billion in aggregate loan experience and handles as many as 12,000 loans per month.

"As CIO, I wanted to make things easier on my IT team as well as our thousands of brokers. A hosted CRM solution seemed like a natural fit because of our multi-site workforce, as well as the ease of maintenance and deployment," said David Langston, CIO at Allied. "But after reviewing Salesforce.com and other leading hosted solutions, it became apparent that most wanted to put development, deployment and management responsibilities back on my IT department. Deployment across over 600 offices just wasn't feasible that way. But Entellium brings the simplicity back to hosted CRM -- they are a busy CIO's dream."

Entellium offers many industry-first automation capabilities for a number of tasks that are still manual in other solutions. For example, Entellium's Document Automator(TM) automatically sends pre-formatted and merged documents, such as contracts, proposals, invoices, and follow-up materials to contacts instantly. Similarly, the company's Report Automator(TM) lets users configure any report so that it is automatically generated and distributed at certain dates and times -- or in specified intervals -- in HTML or Excel format with up-to-the-minute customer data, enabling managers to focus on analyzing the reports, not running them.

"Allied has experienced phenomenal success because they understand what each of their branches needs in order to thrive in a highly competitive market. When it came to CRM deployment, they put sales representatives first, because they're the ones using the solution everyday," said Paul Johnston, CEO of Entellium. "That's why it's our goal to offer the most user-friendly CRM solution on the market. CRM still has a long way to go to actually make the lives of sales and service representatives easier, so this is where Entellium will continue to focus its energies. We look forward to working with Allied to make our 'bottom-up' approach to CRM work for each and every one of their originators."

In August, Entellium received top scores for usability, customer service and price in a head-to-head review by the venerable Network Computing Magazine, which reviewed six top hosted CRM providers. In this review, Entellium's $59 PRO-Activity Release landed in a virtual tie with Salesforce.com's $125 Enterprise Edition. Earlier this year Entellium received top scores from Forrester Research, a leading analyst firm, in usability and cost in the 2005 Forrester Wave report: Hosted Sales Force Automation (1). Entellium also received a perfect 5.0 score for its free global support which includes live training and 24/7 live chat over the web.
