
Implementing ERP in Multinational Companies: Their Effects on the Organization and Individuals at Work
For Software Applications, the 1990s was characterised by the implementation of ERP systems across Multinational organizations. This paper studies some of the lessons learned, from the viewpoint of the effect of these Project implementations on the Organi-zation, the Workplace and the Individuals. A clearer understanding of the human and organizational factors provides a blueprint for a higher success level in these projects in the future, and the leverage effect for continuous improvement for those who use ERP solutions today.
