6/2001 - 6/2002 CRM Business Analyst INC Netwroks

Hired as an independent consultant to assist in reviewing current business systems across two organizations that had recently merged. Initial role was to provide training to various parts of the organization around the world (Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and London) on Vantive Sales module as well as some customized functionality. After providing training I was made responsible for gathering requirements to migrate data from an existing Onyx system into Vantive 8. Performed a gap analysis on existing functionality in both Onyx and Vantive, then reviewed with management what functionality was essential for migration. Provided estimates on the development effort for the accepted changes.
7/2000 - 6/2001 Solutions Delivery Manager Noblestar Systems Corporation
Reston/Va
Recruited in America for assignment to the Noblestar Benelux office to assist in the development of the Noblestar Vantive operation in Europe. Initial responsibility was to deliver an already ongoing project for support of the Sony Playstation 2 launch scheduled for September of 2000. I also have responsibility for team development and the relationship with our strategic partner, who provides call center solutions to companies such as British Telecom. I worked closely with the Clientlogic Applications Manager to gather business and workflow rules and to ensure that the systems we were building were generic in design to facilitate the introduction of a ?core? offering within Clientlogic.
I was also responsible for the design and specification for the Vantive implementations for Sony Playstation 2 and, BT OpenWorld, as well as involved in the hands-on development of the system. Customizations included new Vantive objects, stored procedures and VBA code. The main Vantive module used in these implementations was Vantive Support but also used elements of Vantive Sales to accomplish some of the requirements.
Accomplishments with Noblestar include:
• 100% record of on-time delivery of systems.
2/2000 - 6/2000 Senior Consultant Cornerstone Management
Philadelphia/PA
CORNERSTONE MANAGEMENT February 2000 to July 2000
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Senior Consultant - Initially began work on this failing $5 million project as a staff employee of Evergreen Systems on behalf of Vantive and subsequently assumed responsibility for turning the project around. Served as Lead Developer on the Vantive customizations with responsibility for ensuring the customer's business rules were built into in the system. Supervised as many as 5 Vantive developers and coordinated closely with developers designing the back-end portion of the system to ensure compatible interfaces.
Built new Vantive objects, database tables, stored procedures and VBA code to meet the requirements of the system. Worked with the following Vantive modules :-
Vantive Support
Vantive Field Service
Vantive Help Desk
Accomplishments with Cornerstone Management include:
• Determined that a particular software package was not the best solution for the system and successfully presented recommendations that the company switches over to a tool using Visual Basic.
• Successfully turned the project around and had the system in production within 4 months of my arrival where the system integration firm had not accomplished anything substantial during their 8 months on the project.
• Successfully handled changes to the code and rules on very short notice to accommodate changing regulations from the Public Utilities Commission.
2/1998 - 2/2000 Director, Vantive Operations Evergreen Systems, Inc
Reston/VA
Director - Vantive Operations (February 1998 to February 2000) - Reported directly to the Vice President of Operations, with responsibility for performing both administrative and technical functions. Worked with the CFO to establish the operating budget. Responsible for achieving annual revenue forecasts as high as $2.1 million. Recruited, supervised, and motivated a staff of 7 employees. Ensured that consultants achieved maximum billable time by scheduling new assignments prior to completion of current assignments. Served as liaison between the Evergreen Systems and the Vantive regional office. Worked extensively with Visual Basic, VBA, and SQL while involved in projects for various Vantive clients including Nextel Communication, National Electronics Warranty and Conectiv Energy. Also participated in marketing and promotional activities for the company to bring in direct Vantive work and identify opportunities to incorporate Evergreen's other services into packages promoted by sales people.
Nextel ? Senior Consultant responsible for the design and customization of Vantive. Initial task was to develop a new version of an existing Vantive (version 6) implementation using Vantive 7. Designed and developed a system to be used internationally, including being translated into local languages. Worked with consultants from CAP Gemini to create an integration with BSCS (the Nextel billing system provided by Motorola). Integration was accomplished using stored procedures I wrote as well as some provided by Motorola, and ActiveX controls for the display of the required data.
N.E.W ? Senior Consultant responsible for the design and customization of Vantive. The purpose of this project was to migrate several applications from a mainframe environment to Vantive for Y2K compliance. I worked on a customer called Technicard, which was a time-based support service. A customer would purchase support time (usually 60 minutes), and when they called in for support this time would be subtracted from their total. I modified the Agreements module to allow the use of seconds as a measure of support (the minimum unit out-of-the box was minutes) and used a custom ActiveX control as a visual display to the agent as to how much time was left on the card. When a call was completed the amount of time used was subtracted and the customers card (Agreement) was updated to reflect the new amount.
Also worked on the import of data from a nightly feed of data from the stores where the card was to be sold to add new cards (Agreements) to the system. This involved the use of stored procedures and shell scripts, of which I wrote the stored procedures.
9/1997 - 2/1998 Consultant Evergreen Systems, Inc
