Project Name: UAT Cleanup script Automation Since Feb’07 till date

Tools and technology used: QTP 9.0 and Siebel 7.8.
For each UAT test cycle (and sometimes more often), client have to do a bunch of manual work to ensure that all test accounts are available, have the right skills and information, remove Service Request and Activity backlog from previous testing, emptying test account yahoo email address, etc. It takes client a lot of time.
If any of the above discrepancy is present in application then QTP will add the required record in Siebel and also will report them in auto generated html file.
Client can also maintain test account data present in excel file like they can add or delete new login, or add a new skill to a test login. This doesn't require any IT QA work to update the script all the time, and they can make data changes themselves.

The purpose of this project is to utilize the InfoCentral information delivery model to deliver content to SourceLink. The content will be displayed in the context of Design Topics (internally referred to as Design Tasks), which include Design Subtasks, Design Issues, and Technical Topics. Content is associated with various Design Topics and this association is presented to the user via a navigational menu.
This enhancement will be implemented in a way that will allow an easy way to enable/disable the presence of Design Topics in SourceLink, so that these new functions can be turned on or off with minimal notice.

This portal would be used to provide “Cadence Partner Employees” Read only access to specific information within the Siebel Sales Application.
The “Cadence Channel Partner Manager” would be used by Cadence Internal “Partner Managers” (Cadence Employees) to administer the various Partners.

IT-AM Service Request (ASR) is the vehicle for Cadence internal users to request a business application-related service from Information Technology (IT) organization. Today, Service Request Management System (ASRMS), a Web application, is available for business application super-users to submit such requests. IT-AM groups are using different ASRMS systems to manage their ASRs with little consistency across these systems.
The new IT-AM ASR management system is intended to create a common platform for managing these requests for entire IT-AM, providing consistent data for metrics and measurements reporting.
