| Job Description:Requires 7+ years of development and administration experience with Siebel applications. Must have ability to lead the design, development and implementation of applications solutions. Must be able to define detail design specifications, and develop long-term plans to meet project objectives. Ability to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software applications. Must be able to work on several phases of systems design and implementation for multiple projects simultaneously. Able to perform day-to-day operational support functions within Siebel, including client, server and application administration. Must be able to communicate with vendors and end users to resolve complex issues, and perform day-to-day operational support functions within Siebel, including client, server and application administration. Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, communication skills. Experience with Siebel version 7x, Siebel Call Center and/or Sales modules, Siebel Tools, Siebel Assignment Manager, Siebel Workflow Manager, Siebel Remote, Siebel Server Administration, Seibel Anywhere, Siebel eScripting, Oracle database knowledge, strong SQL+ and PL/SQL is a must. Experience with Siebel Analytics, Actuate, Visual Basic, JavaScript, JAVA, C++ and PERL scripting highly desirable. Prefer a B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/IS/MIS or related field or equivalent.
1.Perform advanced monitoring, hardware, software and operational support of Siebel applications in a 24 x 7, on-call, information technology environment.
2.Manage development projects to successful completion while acting as the technical lead on the project.
3.Create technical specifications based on current business process and interviews with user groups and supporting staff while aligning design and implementation trade-offs with project goals.
4.Maintain and distribute project schedules for complex projects.
5.Manage and communicate with vendors and end users to resolve complex issues.
6.Manage post-release support and ongoing enhancements to the project.
7.Recommend, create and implement IS Development policies, standards, and procedures for development and implementation of internally developed enhancements and interfaces.
8.Recommend utilization of tools (Quest and others) to support development, implementation, and ongoing support of the system.
9.Provide mentoring for all IS Development staff. |
