This entails maintaining and enhancing the existing (3,000+ tables) Exploration and Producing database. The model changes continuously with new technologies and business requirements. Altering existing tables, adding new tables and relationships constitutes a large part of the responsibility. The database is highly integrated with dataflow and quality control built in the database triggers. PL/SQL proficiency is required. Data marts and warehousing structures are also being used so experience with star schemas and dimensions is preferred. The position requires documenting and publishing data model changes to developers and users.

| Job Description:Under review of the Account Manager and President, the Inside Sales associate is responsible for the coordination of Sales Manager and Account Manager activities including, but not limited to:
• preparing marketing collateral and product information literature packages,
• coordinating the logistics of internal/external product demonstrations, and
• compiling research and analysis of the competitive market space.
Primary importance is given to:
• proposal writing (must be highly skilled in business writing, editing and proofreading)
• proposal response coordination, and
• overseeing value-added content reviews of sales proposals, and RFP responses in order to assure that proposed solutions are presented in a high-quality, professional and persuasive format.
In addition, the Inside Sales associate collects and analyzes all relevant sales statistics in order to assist in continually refining the sales process to meet targeted sales projections and quotas. All activities performed positively impact cash flow through prioritization of ongoing sales opportunities.

Develop expert level knowledge of SAS Customer Intelligence capabilities for marketing including reporting, analytics, campaign management and optimization.
Articulate and demonstrate the above knowledge to clients in terms that are easy understand and relevant to their business needs.
Provide solution leadership for sales opportunities.
Strategize with sales teams on objectives for client meetings, and understand how this activity relates to overall sales plan
Build a trusted relationship with the Account Executive, and client account to provide practical and theoretical guidance in the business value of proposed solution
Conduct discovery meetings with clients to collect, analyze, clarify and document business requirements to support the implementation team and to produce a detailed solution proposal.
Set proper expectations throughout selling cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
Guide sales teams on how to position SAS solution against competitors (UNICA, Epiphany, Teradata, etc.)
Deliver standard and customized solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits of the SAS solutions as they apply to client needs.
Ability to deliver solution demonstrations at the power user, marketing user, and executive levels.
Assist in the response to RFI/RFPs utilizing the RFP repository and crafting thorough and compelling answers.
Understand, utilize and communicates best practice methodologies internally and externally.
Works proactively with Systems Engineers, Technical Architects and other Solutions Architects to strategize on opportunities, and for cross-training and knowledge transfer.
Provides support for regional business development activities and marketing events as needed. Performs other duties, as assigned.
