Job Description:We have an immediate opening for someone living in the US with full authorization to work. The position requires Database/Direct Marketing experience – and, ideally, a strong data analysis background using database querying, mining, and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, SAS, SPSS, Cognos, etc.). This is a direct marketing execution role and we need someone that can jump right in, learn the business and environment and be productive quickly. This individual must be able to multi task and work in a fast-paced marketing agency work setting. Duties and Responsibilities: • Support variety of marketing efforts ranging from customer acquisition to customer loyalty activities. • Perform marketing database analysis and reporting. • Run queries against a database to aid in program planning and to answer ad hoc marketing questions. • Set up and utilize automation techniques to support reporting and marketing efforts. • Design and deliver standard marketing reporting package for non data savvy marketers. • Consult on existing marketing segmentation and make recommendations for enhancements. • Set up, execute and report against direct marketing campaigns using campaign management tools. • Prepare specific program deliverables (presentations, reports, graphs, etc.), utilizing database software tools.

Job Description:The Harte-Hanks Analytics group provides consultative support to clients which is data-based, analysis-driven and grounded in a solid understanding of direct marketing and customer relationship management. We conduct customer and product analyses, develop models, and design tests, often incorporating primary research to uncover attitudes driving behavior. We overlay that with a clear understanding of the marketplace gained through in-dept. geo-demographic analysis - all with the goal being to ensure that what is learned becomes part of the client’s body of knowledge. Objective: • Oversee, plan, manage and deliver analytical database/direct marketing projects for Harte-Hanks’ clients. Responsibilities: • Work with clients and Analytics team members to identify business objectives, define data requirements, and construct analyses appropriate to achieve measurable business results. • Assist in consultation with clients as how to apply advanced analytics methodology to help solve clients business’ needs. • Perform data discovery to assist in project scoping and assessment of data needs. • Manage timelines and resources on projects with client(s) as needed, based upon working with Analytics staff; provide job quotes and facilitate order acknowledgement on all projects. • Coordinate client communications with representatives of Harte-Hanks business units and sales team to maintain unified Harte-Hanks impression with client. • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously. • Prepare specific analytical deliverables (reports, graphs, etc.), utilizing database software tools. • Write up key findings and marketing-oriented conclusions drawn from project data. • Communicate with client(s) regarding necessary approvals and clarifications for project requirements. • As needed, present/deliver findings to clients, individually or as part of consultative team.

The Marketing Analyst will provide strategic business insight to all for US Digital Commerce based on data leveraged from various online analytics tools and other sources to optimize online content, email marketing, direct marketing and customer experiences. As our Marketing Analyst you’ll use Omniture web analytics and Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze data for online ad and direct marketing campaigns, providing useful insights into marketing efforts. You’ll monitor and analyze e-commerce marketing initiatives of key competitors. You’ll also prepare forecasts, reviews, and cost/benefit analyses of all ecommerce marketing programs and provide suggestions for program strategies and optimizations. You’ll support forecasting of promotional and advertising expenses related to e-commerce marketing programs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential risks of budget overruns and solutions to avoid overruns. You’ll also coordinate with US Digital Commerce teams, Global Analytics, Finance, Retail, Consumer Services and IT on requirements, timelines and resources. You’ll coordinate ecommerce promotional calendar with other departments and communicate with vendor partners to execute promotions through search engine marketing, affiliates, major online shopping portals, direct marketing and display advertising programs. Furthermore, you’ll support the coordination of timely communications of marketing plans and proposals internally with other departments, working together to plan and implement strategies and tactics resulting in increased sales and increased profit online and retail channels. You’ll liaise with accounting to manage monthly budget reconciliation process. You’ll also analyze response, conversion funnels and sales data in order to identify improvement areas and continually improve campaign performance through key success metrics. Moreover, you’ll ensure core stakeholders are vested in the success of Marketing Programs. You’ll manage ongoing relationships with Digital Commerce, Nike Stores, Nike Factory Stores, Global and U.S. Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing teams. You’ll collaborate with teams to identify innovative ways and means to deliver online and cross-channel promotions. In addition, you’ll partner with Consumer Services to ensure CSR’s are informed of all marketing programs and appropriately staffed to service demand. Benefits.
