VP of CRM


Job Description
Reporting to the EVP of Marketing & Operations, the VP of CRM has P&L responsibility for the company's acquired customers. The VP of CRM is responsible for managing the net profit associated with the customer's lifetime value through all phases of our multi-media, direct marketing business. Direct reports include Customer Database and Customer Service. The successful candidate will have a proven record of developing retention strategies and increasing wallet share. Candidate must be comfortably creating financial pro formas to forecast revenue and profit. Candidate needs to be capable of hands-on execution of these strategies as well as be an effective manager. Candidate should possess a high degree of both analytical and marketing skill. Company is looking for a good solid marketer with a statistical bent. VP of CRM needs to be comfortable both creating the advertising media and targeting its dissemination. Candidate will be responsible, and should therefore have direct experience in: Customer Segments: Maximizing customer revenue after initial acquisition. Driving follow on purchases from one-time buyers. Extending turns for continuity buyers. Broadening product offerings and branding to existing customers. Optimizing dollars from customer database including 3rd party transactions. Calculating, monitoring and increasing the Lifetime value of the customer. Media Categories: Catalog marketing/creation, execution, and tracking results Customer service/save the sale. Telemarketing both inbound and outbound. Internet email and community.Direct Mail. Managerial and Reporting: Leading customer database teams in customer data analysis, customer trends and resulting marketing strategies Leading customer service team in retention, sales and outbound communication. · Developing test cells and tracking response. Managing media dollars associated with catalog, direct mail, or Internet marketing. Purchasing printing, list services, statistical services and other factors necessary to implement lifetime value strategies. Managing adherence to privacy policies
