Director, Sales Systems & Processes


Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: • Champion alignment of our sales force systems and processes with the day-to-day “run the business” needs of Comcast’s Business Services Sales Professionals. • Through user councils, industry/competitor benchmarking, and alignment with strategic plan assure system and process development efforts align with the growth plans for the business. • Prioritize system development needs across all sales channels to ensure that resources are pointed at the most pressing business needs. • Responsible for system development requirements and execution for the selling and ordering of new products. • Write methods and procedures to accurately convey sales system processes to training development and user communities. • Support testing of new tools and processes to assure they meet the intended business requirements. • Chair systems user council to assure system and process development efforts remain in line with field needs. • Identify and assess emerging industry tools and processes that can benefit the business. • Effective budgeting related to sales systems development and deployment. • Strong leadership skills; Exceptional teaming skills; must be able to integrate the needs of several constituencies into a unified development approach. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of writing recommendations and interacting with company personnel on complex topics; make presentations to an internal audience and interacting positively with senior management. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills
Required Skills: Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Sales or Operations. Equivalent experience and self study may be substituted. • Minimum five years sales operations or systems experience. • Commercial Sales or Sales Support experience in Telecom industry. • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access, Outlook or other E-mail application required. • Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly (flexible with hours and duties) • Ability to make decisions quickly and independently. • A self-starter; detailed knowledge of Comcast’s sales and operations processes a plus. • Strong customer focus • Knowledgeable about data collection products and technologies
