Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST Sensormatic Electronics Corp. has an opening in Boca Raton, Florida for a Business Intelligence Analyst. Responsible for development and reporting design and detailed data analysis via Scorecard/Dashboard. Work on the analytic team as a liaison with customers on problem resolution, change requests and other operational issues. Participate in application development and root cause analysis. Assist in the transitioning of new applications into the Production Support environment. Develop base reports to perform account analytics from multiple data marts, combining outputs in consistent format and content. Provide production support and fulfill development needs to international user community.

Required Skills: Must possess at least a bachelor’s or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least five progressive years of relevant work experience. In the alternative, a master’s degree and at least three years of experience would be acceptable. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience would be sufficient. Must also possess at least one year of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing analytical reporting, including one or more of the following tools – Microstrategy, Microsoft Reporting Services, Cognos, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and Brio; as well as experience with data mining and with large databases; experience using data from Oracle and SQL Server; knowledge of SQL; and knowledge of SixSigma.
