Director Relationship Marketing

We are searching for a strong Relationship Marketing Director for our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY. The Relationship Marketing Director is responsible for representing the customer throughout the marketing process. They focus on ensuring that the integrated marketing plans include the development and implementation of both acquisition (lead generation) and loyalty (retention) components. This is a highly strategic position and critical to the success of our marketing plans as we focus more and more on our customers in our marketing efforts. Other key responsibilities include:  Responsibility for focus areas at the customer segments, industry verticals and or business unit levels.  Represent customers in the integrated marketing process – utilizing various resources focused on customer analysis.  Provide relationship marketing council to the integrated marketing team -supervision / guidance to team members regarding strategic relationship marketing disciplines.  Ensure that marketing directors leverage all relationship marketing strategies and approaches (acquisition and retention) when building the integrated marketing strategies (specific to each of the segments, verticals or BU's).  Ensure that the tactical elements of the integrated plans include the necessary relationship marketing elements to make the communications more effective – call to action, offer, relevant imagery, etc.  Also responsible for coordinating efforts with our contracted integrated (direct or relationship) marketing agencies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of;  Ten years of relationship marketing experience (direct marketing). Specific experience in the IT industry is a plus.  Advanced communications skills performing written communications and presenting to various levels of management.  Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a close attention to detail.  Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines a must with strong organizational skills.  Proven track record of Metrics Based Marketing working within a ROI, Cost Per Lead, Cost Per Sale, etc.  Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.  Business travel of approximately 5 or less percent yearly is expected for this position.
