Frost & Sullivan
SV Purushothaman is an Industry Analyst with the Communications
Applications group at Frost & Sullivan.
He is a member of both the Enterprise Communications and
Multimedia Conferencing/Collaboration sub-groups where he
conducts ongoing research and analysis of Traditional and
IP telephony, Audio Conferencing Equipment & Services, e-Learning
and IVR markets. His responsibilities include subscription
services as well as consulting projects. Mr. Purushothaman
also functions as the Team Leader for the Research Analysts
in the Chennai, India branch of the Information Communications
Technologies Group.
Experience & Accomplishments:
Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, Mr.Purushothaman worked
for the U.S. Central Credit Union in the capacity of a Business
Research Analyst. In this position, he was involved in researching
the trends of products/services in the financial industry
and making strategic recommendations to higher management.
Prior to U.S. Central Credit Union, Mr.Purushothaman worked
as a Program Manager at Microsoft, where he was involved
in the requirements, analysis and design stage of software
development. He also held the Technical Marketing Analyst
position at Cisco Systems where his responsibilities included
competitive assessments, trend analysis and product analysis.
Education:
Mr. Purushothaman holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer
Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from
the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. He received a Bachelors
degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from
Anna University, Chennai, India. Mr.Purushothaman has a
software process design invention submission to the U.S.
Patent office from his time at Microsoft.
