Plum Voice Portals Wins Product of the Year Award
Plum Voice Portals announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC)'s Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine has named the Plum VoiceXML platform as a recipient of a 2005 Product of the Year Award.
Specifically cited for excellence was Plum's MedTalk, a powerful enhancement to the Plum VoiceXML platform. MedTalk is used by healthcare providers such as pharmaceutical companies, health insurers and research organizations to create automated telephone dialogues with patients. As the driving force behind MedTalk, the Plum VoiceXML platform demonstrates its best-of-breed status, delivering the versatility and scalability that enterprises demand to create powerful and dynamic IVR systems.
What makes the Plum VoiceXML platform particularly innovative in the customer interaction sense is its flexibility, ease of administration and ability to deliver IVR applications that are able to interact with callers with greater personalization. Hundreds of applications built on the Plum VoiceXML platform, for example, facilitate dialogues that are conducted in a variety of ways to suit a caller's preference, incorporating a mix of communications such as voice, text message and touchtone interactions. Applications developed on the Plum platform can also be created to dynamically alter dialogues in mid-call based on the identity and profile of callers.
"Each year Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine bestows its Product of the Year awards on companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements. Plum Voice Portals has demonstrated to the editors of Customer Inter@ction Solutions that its products and services have gone the extra mile to help improve both the customer experience and the ROI for the companies that use them," said Nadji Tehrani, Executive Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Customer Inter@ction Solutions.
