BigMachines Announces Partnership With Salesforce.com
BigMachines, Inc., a provider of innovative business solutions for manufacturers, announced that the company has forged a developer and reseller partnership with salesforce.com, the world leader in delivering on-demand CRM solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, BigMachines will market and sell salesforce.com software licenses for on-demand CRM to customers using or implementing BigMachines' innovative on-demand Lean Front-EndSM (LFE) Solution.
BigMachines will provide web services-based integration between the company's LFE software and salesforce.com's sales and contact management capabilities. By combining the LFE’s leading edge guided selling capabilities with salesforce.

com CRM, manufacturers will be able to streamline their entire sales and marketing processes from end-to-end. This expanded functionality will enable LFE customers to improve strategic account and lead management, as well as to streamline and automate sales force activities.
According to BigMachines CEO and co-founder Godard Abel, the salesforce.com alliance will help increase sales efficiency and productivity for small and midsize enterprises at a very affordable price. "We are delighted to partner with salesforce.com, the industry leader in the on-demand CRM market space," said Abel. "There's a remarkable synergy between our companies in that we both offer innovative, easy-to-implement solutions that are accessible without making a large technology infrastructure investment. Our Web-based, on-demand LFE delivery model enables small to midsize businesses to rapidly implement an affordable, complete front-end solution."
