Sons of Norway Goes Live With Wintouch eCRM Portals
Touchtone Corporation, developer and publisher of member management software for the IBM iSeries announced that Sons of Norway, the largest Norwegian organization outside of Norway has selected Wintouch Member Management software to facilitate member contact and extend insurance services offered to members throughout North America and in Norway.
Touchtone’s Wintouch Member Management solution provides the Sons of Norway with a secure customized Internet portal for members to access and change their own demographic information online. Members can log on, then enter address and phone number changes, moves to seasonal addresses, register and pay for upcoming local, district, national and international events, contact financial planners, and make purchases in the online store.

“Wintouch offers Sons of Norway a unique way to integrate their existing AS/400 member data with the online resources they needed to improve communication with their members,” said Rich Hall, VP of Sales and Marketing for Touchtone. “Sons of Norway headquarters staff and district and lodge officers are able to correspond more effectively with members regarding meetings, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, dues status and other information.”
Wintouch enables the Sons of Norway to leverage the power of centralizing applications and member data on one IBM iSeries server. Member data is intact whether the member is summering in Minnesota, wintering in Florida or has recently moved to Canada from North Dakota. Wintouch can be further customized to include email notification to designated officers of the lodge closest to the member’s new home.
“We chose Wintouch because it is a native AS/400 application that quickly and easily integrated with our existing server, applications and data – saving us time and money,” said John Lund, president of Sons of Norway. “Wintouch allows us to better serve our members online with a wide variety of insurance products, ranging from automobile to long term care and life insurance.”
