InfoNow’s ChannelInsight for Salesforce CRM Now Available on the Force.com AppExchange from Salesforce.com
Using ChannelInsight for Salesforce CRM, users can view and monitor the channel sales performance of each account and product within Salesforce. Users can enhance their existing sales, inventory and forecasting data collection processes by identifying products, partners and end-users contained in POS transaction data, and enriching this data by matching it to third-party reference databases. ChannelInsight for Salesforce CRM can support new business development efforts by identifying new partners that can be managed and developed.
“Many industries, such as high-tech manufacturing, have a large percentage of revenue coming from indirect multi-tier distribution networks,” said Rob Bois in an AMR Research article. “ChannelInsight for Salesforce CRM aggregates and reconciles demand signal data, which allows companies to tie downstream POS data to accounts and products in Salesforce to gain visibility of partner performance and demand signals along side direct sales information. The new release from InfoNow allows companies to extend their existing CRM investments to build better indirect channel demand insight within the Salesforce CRM interface.”
ChannelInsight for Salesforce CRM is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that uses multiple pieces of data including global mapping and address information to accurately identify and attribute sales to reseller partners, ensuring InfoNow’s customers have up-to-date information about their partners, products and end-customers. The SaaS solution easily accepts point-of-sale data, processes it according to a specific businesses role, and delivers it directly into Salesforce CRM.
“Given the current economic pressures, companies need greater visibility into and control over their entire business to determine and affect strategic direction – from supply chain to sales and marketing to CRM,” said Mark Geene, CEO, InfoNow. “For the thousands of companies using Salesforce CRM, the ChannelInsight solution now extends their visibility into customer relationships and channel partners, which has significant implications across their entire business from inventory controls to marketing program management to compensation.”
“The tremendous momentum of the Force.com AppExchange means our customers have a wealth of applications at their fingertips that extend the value of Salesforce CRM,” said Clarence So, chief marketing officer at Salesforce. “Customers can use the AppExchange to quickly and easily deploy InfoNow ChannelInsight to better understand and manage their channel sales operations and improve both their partners’ and their own bottom line.”
