PivotLink Launches Revolutionary on-demand Business Intelligence Application for salesforce.com to enhance Reporting and Analytics
PivotLink, the leader in on-demand business intelligence, today announced the general availability of PivotLink BI for users of the popular on-demand Salesforce CRM application. Certified for salesforce.com, PivotLink’s on demand business intelligence offering provides an easy-to-use application that unifies all your salesforce.com data, combines it with any outside data source and presents the information with compelling dashboards and easily customizable reports. PivotLink is immediately available for test drive and deployment on the Force.com AppExchange at www.salesforce.com/appexchange/.
“PivotLink has revolutionized the way we use our internal data to measure business performance and make faster, better informed decisions.

” states Joseph Arascunaga, from JunkmyCar.com.
PivotLink’s on demand offering makes it simple for users to unify, store and analyze their data. Salesforce users can break through the Salesforce reporting silos and now combine information with ease across any time period and across large data sets. Any Salesforce user can build or modify their reports with an easy to use drag and drop interface. Users can define their own metrics, analyze trends from any angle and share their results broadly in dashboards or in reports.
“This is a major departure from traditional approaches to business intelligence and data warehousing”, says Narinder Singh, Chief Marketing Officer of Appirio. “With the inevitable move to the cloud, we are seeing more and more customers searching for on-demand business intelligence tools that take the burden off of IT and provide a fast, real-time aggregation engine that allows users to easily create reports and analyze company information. All this without the constraints and costs of an non-premise solution.”
“To put it bluntly, PivotLink has drastically changed the way we do business at Rossignol,” said Jim Hunter, CFO and vice president of Operations for Rossignol. “Because PivotLink’s solution is so intuitive and easy to use, people have greater access to more information than ever before – something like that becomes addictive operationally.”
Distribution Market Advantage has also seen viral adoption across multiple channels of its organization. With approximately 172 users, DMA uses PivotLink’s solutions across multiple functions, including customers and suppliers, and has seen increased productivity and synchronization across the board.
“Many of our customers, like REI, Rossignol, and Distribution Market Advantage, have seen rapid adoption of our solutions to all corners of their organizations. PivotLink’s quick implementation and superior ease of use allows any employee, in any organization, to capture and segment an abundance of data, regardless of their technical expertise,” said Quentin Gallivan, CEO of PivotLink. “These examples have proven that business intelligence products, which were once thought of as cumbersome and complex, are now accessible to any organization, large or small.”
