Advent Software Earns Prestigious Service Capability & Performance Certification for Third Straight Year
Advent Software, Inc., (NASDAQ: ADVS), the leading provider of software and solutions for the global investment management industry, today announced that, for a third consecutive year, its Investment Management Group’s Client Support organization has achieved certification under the prestigious Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Support Standard. Advent continues to lead the financial services software industry by being the only company to earn the Service Capability and Performance certification for being a world-class support organization.
Advent achieved certification after an extensive audit of their San Francisco, California support center.
"By meeting the rigorous requirements necessary to achieve certification for the third consecutive year, Advent continues to show its commitment to ensuring our customers’ continued success by delivering the highest quality support possible," said Casey Keller, Senior Director, Client Services. “We are very proud of this achievement, which demonstrates that Advent’s client support capabilities are a differentiator in this highly competitive technology marketplace.”
The SCP Support Standard is part of a suite of service capability and performance standards designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations. A consortium of leading technology companies, along with the Association for Services Management International and Service Strategies Corporation, created the internationally recognized standards, which define best practices for delivering world-class technology service and support, quantify performance levels and establish a foundation to build on existing quality processes. Certification requires comprehensive audits and annual recertification to confirm that companies continue to meet the requirements of the program.
“The Advent IMG Client Support organization demonstrated an outstanding commitment to service excellence during their recent SCP audit,” said Derek Nash, SCP Auditor. “During the audit, the organization’s focus on collecting customer requirements, developing quality processes and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, together with their commitment to continuous improvement, clearly demonstrated the high quality of the support delivered to Advent clients.”
Advent joins the ranks of other leading technology companies that have achieved the prestigious and sought-after SCP Certification, including EMC Corporation, Lockheed Martin Incorporated, GE Healthcare, McKesson Corporation, Rockwell Automation, Nokia and FUJIFILM Medical among others. Currently, more than 200 technology support organizations around the world participate in the SCP program.
