DataFlux Accelerates the Path to Analyzing Customer Data Quality
DataFlux, a leading provider of data integration and data quality solutions, today unveiled a new offering the "DataFlux Accelerator for Customer Data Analysis" designed to help organizations easily understand their information to quickly begin identifying and rectifying incorrect data. The product is part of the DataFlux Accelerators suite that enables customers to reduce the time and effort required to achieve high levels of data quality and data integration.
Using an evolutionary approach to delivering enterprise data quality and data integration initiatives, DataFlux Accelerators allow companies to move from tactical data quality deployments to full-scale corporate data management initiatives.
With the DataFlux Accelerator for Customer Data Analysis, business users can compare and contrast disparate data sets, set thresholds of acceptability and weight the importance of different data fields to add organization-specific context to their reports. The Accelerator uses DataFlux’s broad experience in data quality to create benchmarks and milestones that create a pre-packaged method for uncovering and reporting data quality issues. Users can refine these pre-set metrics to tailor a data assessment program for their organization.
"Before you can begin any broad-based program with your customer data, it is critical to understand the areas of strength and weakness within your data," said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. "The DataFlux Accelerator for Customer Data Analysis provides an intuitive, business-focused dashboard for analyzing valuable customer data assets."
"“Master data management (MDM) depends on strong data-quality assurance practices," says James Kobielus, principal analyst for data management at Current Analysis. "Enterprises can speed implementation of data quality initiatives through use of prepackaged best-practices templates such as DataFlux Accelerator for Customer Data Analysis. In this way, organizations can benefit from field-proven data-governance services, workflows, and data models when implementing MDM initiatives such as customer data integration (CDI)."
Following an initial analysis of customer data, this Accelerator provides Web-based, graphical reports that can be shared throughout the enterprise. These reports provide business users and executives with a high-level overview of any customer data quality problems, giving the organization a way to establish benchmarks and milestones for customer improvement.
