Interactive Intelligence Enhances Enterprise IP Telephony Software with New Applications
Interactive Intelligence Inc., a global developer of business communications software, has added new e-mail routing and more sophisticated recording capabilities to its enterprise IP telephony software, Vonexus Enterprise Interaction Center® (EIC).
New in Vonexus EIC is e-mail routing, which enables organizations to deliver e-mails similar to the way the system currently routes and queues calls, faxes and Web chats to business users and workgroups.
Also new is the option of adding a full-featured recording module called Interaction Recorder®, which includes an automatic rules-based recording interface, along with logging, retrieval and scoring features.

Along with IP PBX functionality and a wide range of productivity-enhancing voice/data applications, such as interactive voice response, conferencing, unified messaging, presence management, ACD, auto-attendant and more, Vonexus EIC offers pre-integrated plug-ins for the Microsoft Dynamics™ and Microsoft® Office software, and Microsoft® Office Live Communications Server.
Vonexus EIC uses the VoIP SIP standard throughout, giving businesses the broadest choice of third-party networking equipment, end-point devices, and other hardware. Its modular, all-software, single-platform approach also enables businesses to cost-effectively migrate to more sophisticated applications, as well as scale to accommodate growth, by simply activating new licenses — no forklift upgrades.
