Vignette Helps Ohio National Connect with Sales Associates Online
Ohio National Financial Services, a provider of insurance products and financial services with more than 50,000 representatives across the United States, leverages Vignette's Next-Generation Web solution for its ON-Net producer Web portal. Ohio National selected Vignette to help the company manage and organize its extranet content in compliance with regulations and build stronger relationships and communication channels with its sales associates.
"Vignette gives us a powerful solution to create a searchable and manageable repository of information and provides our users with a more personalized online experience," said R. Allen Bowen, senior vice president, Information Systems, Ohio National Financial Services.
Ohio National uses Vignette to organize mass quantities of unstructured data, including forms, marketing materials and detailed product information. That content is delivered to sales associates via the highly customizable ON-Net Web portal. The portal significantly reduces the time spent on search and discovery of important information, enabling representatives to provide quicker, more personalized customer service. The content permissioning model within ON-Net ensures content is targeted based on the licensing and reporting attributes of the user. This means the site dynamically reconfigures itself for each sales associate based on who they are and their relationship with the company, enhancing site usability and improving service.
Since launching the re-designed ON-Net producer Web portal, the Ohio National Web site was named a "Top 25 Insurance Services Web Site" according to independent consultants, DALBAR, Inc. In addition, a recent survey of Ohio National's sales associates showed ON-Net having its highest satisfaction marks ever from its users.
"Providing superior customer service is critical to the ongoing success of Ohio National," said Leo Brunnick, senior vice president of Products and Marketing at Vignette. "Vignette has allowed them to establish stronger interactions with sales associates and deliver a more meaningful, personalized Web experience."
