Conceptus Deploys Nimsoft's NimBUS for Proactive SLA Monitoring and Support
Nimsoft Inc., provider of Service Level Management (SLM) solutions, announced that Conceptus, an innovator of medical devices in the field of women's health, has deployed Nimsoft's NimBUS to monitor key business systems proactively against Service Level Agreements (SLA) for their ERP, CRM, data warehouse, Web solutions and related networks.
Conceptus is initially deploying a single "Dashboard" of critical systems. Conceptus has instituted related SLAs, and will continue to monitor, measure and report against these metrics. Nimsoft's NimBUS will help Conceptus benchmark an acceptable speed for the process of designing and implementing system upgrades.
According to Jeff Letasse, Conceptus' Senior Director, IT, "Nimsoft has helped us shift from being a reactive environment, where someone notifies us of a problem, to a proactive service, where we are notified of issues that may arise before they happen. Prior to NimBUS we didn't have a solution, and our networks were not very stable. We had several outages a month and our applications were considered "sluggish." Now we are monitoring our network status, and more importantly, our throughput speeds or internal application performance, which allow us to place a value on how our systems and networks are really doing. Overall, we are very pleased with the simplicity of Nimsoft's setup, the extreme ease of use and their great breadth of features."
Gary Read, Nimsoft President & CEO, stated, "We are delighted to provide Conceptus with proactive solutions so they are no longer faced with waiting for issues or system failures to happen. The information we are able to provide Conceptus represents the first time they have had quantitative information to measure customer satisfaction."
