Following on the heels of Gartner’s recent Magic Quadrant for Customer Data Integration Hubs, 2Q06 that lists Siperian as a Visionary in the CDI industry (see related announcement dated June 7, 2006), the company is quickly capitalizing on its leadership position by planning to deliver its flexible and scalable adaptive master data architecture to a wider range of data-intensive industries.

Mr. Caswell has a proven track record of developing enterprise software start-ups into profitable, vibrant market leaders. As the company’s new CEO, Mr. Caswell brings more than 25 years of international software industry experience to the benefit of Siperian. Prior to joining Siperian, he was president and CEO of Advent Software after serving in a number of executive capacities, including chief operating officer, SVP of Sales and Marketing, and VP of Field Operations. Under his direction, Advent grew its revenues from $8 million to $200 million while quadrupling its operating margins.

Previously, Mr. Caswell managed sales in the manufacturing and distribution market segment across Western Europe for MSA before being transferred to the U.S. to first oversee sales and marketing efforts and then to serve as General Manager of the West Coast Division. Prior to MSA, Mr. Caswell served at Hogan Systems where he was responsible for managing Western Europe and the company’s commercial and wholesale banking business. During his tenure at Hogan Systems, he was credited for guiding strategic accounts initiatives in domestic banking in the United Kingdom.

“The fast growth of the CDI/MDM market presents us with an incredible opportunity to capitalize on our current leadership position,” said Peter Caswell, CEO of Siperian. “The additional funding will enable Siperian to fuel its Sales and Marketing efforts and extend its award winning CDI technology to a wider range of markets and industries.”

“We feel fortunate to have someone of Peter Caswell’s caliber as the company’s new chief executive,” said Morgan Rodd, Siperian Board Member and Managing Partner at ArrowPath Venture Capital. “His expertise and success in driving international & domestic organizations through periods of rapid growth and expansion is a perfect fit with Siperian’s aggressive plan for penetrating additional vertical markets as companies continue to look to create unified views of data assets. We continue to invest in Siperian behind its market momentum. ”
