Vodafone Partners with Mobiltel and Verizon Wireless
Vodafone, a mobile network operator, recently announced it has signed a Partner Agreement with Mobiltel, the Bulgarian mobile operator of Telekom Austria. Vodafone's products and services will be dual branded in Bulgaria by Mobiltel, combining Mobiltel's nationally recognised brand with Vodafone's global brand.
The mutually beneficial relationship also provides Vodafone, its subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures and Partner customers' with seamless access to Vodafone's international mobile services whilst travelling in Bulgaria. AT&T Foundation's Excelerator Program awarded the Alzheimer's Association, St. Louis Chapter, with a $10,000 technology grant, the organization announced Wednesday.
With the grant, the Alzheimer's Association will purchase six laptop computers to allow field staff to better serve families in outlying areas. San Antonio, Texas-based AT&T Inc. provides local and long-distance telephone and Internet service in Missouri and Illinois.
With the last of the nation's largest wireless carriers' reporting its 4th Quarter results, Verizon Wireless once again claims the title of the wireless leader in customer loyalty. For the fifth consecutive quarter, Verizon Wireless has the industry's lowest customer churn rate -- the percentage of customers who disconnect their service, and an important indicator of customer loyalty.
Diamond I, Inc., a developer of wireless gaming products, recently expressed its encouragement following last week's Nevada Gaming Commission review of proposed rules for hand-held, wireless gambling devices, such as Diamond I's WifiCasino GS(TM) wireless gaming system. Diamond I, Inc. is a development-stage company that develops wireless gaming products, including a hand-held Wi-Fi-based gaming system for on-premises use by casinos/resorts, known as "WifiCasino GS Concierge and Gaming System"(TM).
